Amanda Schmidt, BA, SAC-IT is a dedicated mental health professional with a specialization in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, with a minor in Women’s and Gender Studies, from St. Norbert College in 2019. Currently in the final year of her Master’s program in Educational Psychology at the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee, Amanda is continuing to deepen her clinical expertise.

In August 2025, Amanda obtained her Substance Abuse Counselor-In-Training (SAC-IT) certification and has been working in addiction services in Waukesha since 2021. Her experience includes supporting both men and women through recovery, with a particular passion for working with women, adolescents, and families. Amanda is committed to helping clients build healthier, more functional lives through compassionate, evidence-based care.  Amanda joined the Behavioral Consultants team in September of 2025 in the role as a Remediation Specialist where she is responsible for providing psycho-legal educational therapy for juvenile defendants.
